Theodore Modis on the Primordial S-Curve

On a very special episode of Cycles TV, Theodore Modis shares his work on the Primordial S-Curve and the relationship between complexity and entropy.

Theodore Modis received a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University. He carried out research in particle-physics experiments at Brookhaven National Laboratory and at CERN.

He is author/co-author of hundreds of articles in scientific and business journals and 10 books translated into a number of languages. He is known for his expertise in S-curves and his vehement criticism of the singularity concept. Founder of the consulting company, Growth Dynamics, he lives in Lugano, Switzerland.

Read his article "Sunspots, GDP, and the Stock Market" in Cycles Magazine Vol. 47.
