AN UPDATE FROM CHAIRMAN DR. RICHARD SMITH

Dear Friends of the  Foundation for the Study of Cycles:

We are excited and proud to announce that the Foundation for the Study of Cycles is officially back in business! And not a moment too soon, I might add.

The FSC was founded by Dewey nearly 80 years ago. As most of you know, Dewey was first inspired to learn about cycles as part of his quest to understand what caused the 1929 stock market crash and ensuing depression and to help make sure something like never happened again.

We’ve come full circle (for the 90-year stock market crash cycle). There could not be a more important time to relaunch the FSC than now.

While there remains much work to be done, your new Board of Directors has made great strides in bringing the FSC back to life. Let me share with you a few of the highlights:

  1. Once again we are officially a tax-exempt 501 (c)3 educational institution! Your donations will be tax-deductible.
  2. We have an official new website.
  3. One of the major benefits of the new website is an online (cloud-based) cycles analysis tool. Check out a video from Lars von Thienen, the services creator [ Watch Now ] and download the [ Whitepaper ]

I’m going to keep this short and sweet for now so we can get this announcement out ASAP as I know that you all have been waiting for a long time for some positive news.

We thank you for your patience as we have worked to relaunch the FSC in a manner fitting of its storied history. It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to welcome you back. We welcome your feedback and your ideas for the future and we implore your patience as we work through the kinks and logistics of our relaunch!

It’s great to finally be in a position to once again consider the future of the FSC and we could not be more excited about that future.

On behalf of the Board of Directors,

Richard M. Smith, PhD

Chairman and CEO, Foundation for the Study of Cycles
